Park pictures

Dylan was such a good boy yesterday and we decided to go to the park. He met a little girl named Katie and we had a lot of fun. He enjoyed going down the slides, swinging, and kicking the blue and orange balls he found. He did a really good job sharing too. There were some 10 year old boys playing footbal and Dylan wanted in on the action. He was throwing his arms up in the air for touchdown and running along with them. I sure wish I had my video camera to share. He is so used to kids playing and letting him tag along. The neighbor boys are always outside and its fun to watch them.

New addition

Hi everyone we have a new addition to the Dolphin family... No, its not a baby YET, but a puppy. Its not a real puppy either, but a Love 'n Licks Puppy. Dylan received this little guy from my friend Judy. He absolutely loves it. He carries it with him and even sleeps with it. We haven't named his yet... any suggestions?

Random

Today we played outside all afternoon. It was soooo beautiful out. Dylan's friend Laci came over late morning and then tonight his other friend Rachel came over. He was so tired from the day, that he crashed at 6pm. When it was time for Rachel and Suzette to leave, he woke up. Go figure. I'm sure they will see eachother on their day off on Monday.

We are gearing up for turkey day. Check out our turkey pumpkin.

Wordless Saturday Night

Thanksgiving

We bought our tickets and we will be back to visit everyone. Hopefully Dylan is a good traveler. Our flights are both before 7am- OUCH.. as you all know, I'm not a morning person and neither is Dylan so we will see how that goes.

We are also having a small celebration for Dylan with his aunts/uncles and grandparents. The theme of the party is going to be Cars, Thomas the Train or Pablo. He likes them all equally, so we will see. I need to call and get a cake for it and we will see what they have available.



Does anyone have plans for the weekend? We actually don't, so that will be nice. I'm planning on working on the calendar and hopefully get start it and finish it. I'll be traveling next week for work, so I feel I'm running out of time before we celebrate xmas with the family.

Daylight savings

I was so happy to have an extra hour to sleep last night. I was all messed up with moving our clocks back that my sleep schedule is all off. I stayed up late last night printing out pictures for a calendar I'm making for a Christmas gift. The problem is my photo printer isn't working and neither is my colored scanner. I'm going to take both of them in today to see what the deal is. Technology... its great when it works, but if it doesn't it sucks.

We had a great time at our friends Kelly and Jesse's last night. The kids played for a little bit at their house and then we all went trick or treating. Even at 2 years old, the kids had a great time and knew if they said trick or treat or at least put their bags out, they got candy.

Swing batter batter swing

Last night we were playing in the garage. Dylan loves to swing the bat and hit the ball that his hanging from the ceiling. He now figured out its kind of funny to get it stuck in the beams and daddy has to jump and get the ball back. Winding up Uh oh... Oh look... I'm a funny kid

Haloween costume

Well, Dylan was going to be a dragon for Halloween, but his outfit is so short on him. Its a 2T-4T, but you would never know it. Its so darn cute, so we may still use it and just put leggings on or something. I haven't decided yet.

We went to a Haloween party last night at our friends Dena and Steve's house and had a great time. The kids played really well together. She had all sorts of good things to eat. I brought over lasagna and spinach dip and it was a hit. We of course didn't get to the party on time though. It started at 4 and Dylan fell asleep at 3:45... go figure. We woke him up at 6 and headed over. He was a littly clingy in the beginning and then warmed up to everyone. I think he wasn't quite awake yet.

Halloween is almost here.

Sunday play time

Hey guys... this is fun.








Dylan was having so much fun going through his tunnels. He has such a great time playing outside and it was such a perfect day too.

Rachel and Suzette were walking and they stopped over for some of the fun too.




Later that night we went to a block party for fried catfish and chicken fingers... YUMMO... Dylan and Rachel had fun playing in the dirt. Man oh man, if we knew that, we would have waited on their baths. It was a lot of fun and we met some new neighbors too.

Pumpkin patch

We went to a local "Pumpkin Patch" this weekend. The kids went on a hayride and also a train ride and loved it. Poor Rachel didn't want to get off the choo choo.
Dylan really enjoyed rolling the pumpkins. I think he thought they were balls because he started kicking them. Maybe he had to let out a little frustruating though, who knows. =)
