Gavin is 9 months today

WOW.. I just realized that Gavin turned 9 months on the 27th.
He is in the 20-30th percentile for height and weight and 40th for head. He weighs 16 lbs, 1 ounce and is 27 inches long. Its so strange he is a "peanut" since he LOVES to eat, unlike his brother. This is a picture of him eating his first brownie.
He has had a popcicle, mashed potatoes, green beans, chicken, hamburger, spaghetti, watermuellen, eggs, and jello so far and has liked it all. Our doctor mentioned we could give him strawberries and also have his start drinking from a sippy cup too.

This past weekend was busy, busy, busy. We went back to DBQ again and visited a lot of my cousins and then over to the Dolphins where we hung out with Andi/Troy and family, Ang/Curt and family and Denny/Maxine.
Its always a lot of fun when we get together. On Saturday we had our Stoffel reunion. It was great seeing a lot our family who we have not seen in forever. There are so many new kiddos too. Seriously, I'll have do post some pictures of most of my cousins, the great grandkids, etc. Its a very big family.

These are some of the 1st cousins, but not all...
Later that afternoon we went swimming and had the best ribs ever!!!! That is my favorite. We had a campfire that evening and then on Sunday more swimming. The guys built a shed and they finished in record time.
We just lounged around. We didn't leave until late evening- 9 ish, but it was fun. We will be back over Labor day too.

This Saturday Dylan has a birthday party to go to. He is so in to "happy cake". This is a princess party for a girl in his class. I like meeting the parents. We don't know a lot of people here yet, so its fun for me too.

Tonight we have blastball. Todd is filling in for Curt coaching tonight and Wednesday. I'm sure hoping he gets there on time. As you all know, being on time is not a trait that either of us are good at... =0

What I really want...

A new camera. I need to replace my old one with something I can just throw in my purse or pocket, but eventually I want to get a really nice one to capture all the moments. I'm looking at the Cannon Rebel XT.

Baby Plumley has arrived... Camryn Jayda Plumley

She has arrived... weighing in at 6 lbs, 15 ounces and 19 1/2 inches long. She arrive at 1??? something in the am on July 9th. We went to see her on Friday and she is sooooo cute. Its amazing how big Gavin looks compared to her. She has dark hair and dark skin and looks a lot like Jason. She does have Heather's dimple, which is so cute. She is a cuddle bug and was good the whole time.

Saturday we went to Music in the park and met up with my friend Shelby and her family. The kids loved doing the jumpy things and playing the games. We got Gavin and Dylan's face painted, but of course I don't have my camera right now, so I don't have any pictures... darn the bad luck.

On Sunday, my mom/dad had their tour of gardens. They were 1 out of 7 gardens and it was beautiful. My dad was just glowing. What a proud moment for him. His backyard is indeed a hidden treasure. They have over 1 1/2 acres and on it, there are several unique gardens. He has over 125 varieties of hostas and I think they mentioned there was over 1,000 of them. My dad also built a rock wall and waterfalls in the creek. That in itself is a piece of art. So many people commented on how serene it was and they couldn't believe my dad did all the work. It was fun to see everyones expression when they walked down the side of the house and stopped before they got to the hill to the gardens and just said wow...

I was the official photgrapher during the show. I used my dads camera and took 160 plus pictures. As soon as I see them again, I'll download a few for you to see. Of course, I had to take some of the kiddos too. Gavin was my little model. I put him in flower beds, hosta gardens, grass, etc. Later that afternoon, Todd and Dylan showed up. They were swimming over at the other grandparents house and Todd got stung by a bee in his eye. They helped with the golf cart and brought people either down the hill or up it. Dylan thought that was great. When the show was over, mom/dad had a barbeque and it was very nice. I sure love those wark turkey sandwiches. We left a little after 9-ish and headed home.

The next morning, Todd woke up with his eye swollen. I "think" he has some type of bee allergy. This is the 2nd time he has been stung by the eye. Last year it was right around this same time too. Poor Todd... I'm hoping he feels better soon.

This weekend we have absolutely nothing planned. This is a change for us and I'm excited to stay home for once.

Monday Dylan had his first blast ball practice. He did GREAT the 1st part. He enjoyed hitting the ball and running to the base, but then after snack/1/2 time he was ready to go play on the playground and had no desire what-so-ever to play anymore. He pouted, cried, hung on Todd and I. Man, it was awful. I'm sure hoping tonight goes better. I'll keep you posted.

Waiting to hear when baby Plumley will be here

Heather's due date is tomorrow. That sure went by pretty fast. I'm excited to be an aunt again. This time, its a girl. I only have 2 nieces and the other 4 are my nephews. I'll keep everyone posted when she arrives.

Little teether

Gavin is teething like no other... poor little thing. He has 1 tooth on the bottom and the other on the way. The two on the top are ready to come through too. On top of that, he has an ear infection. The daycare called yesterday and his temperature was 102.9 and he was feeling miserable. He is on Amoxcillan now and that seems to be helping.

4th of July weekend

We had a really nice 4th of July weekend.

Andi/Troy and kids came to visit. Darn me... I didn't take any pictures. We were soooo happy to see those guys. We originally planned to meet with Todd's co-workers and hang out with the neighbors, but it was up in the air. We hung out at the house and went over to Eric and Claires. After that, we watched the fireworks in the backyard and made smores. It was nice sitting outside and talking about fun times. On Sunday, they had to leave early in the morning due to baseball games. We just hung out at home and had the kids play in the little pool.
