We went and got pictures taken yesterday and Dylan had a fun time... Of course, out little one year old slept through the whole thing and when he woke up, he was not very happy. Oh well, at least we got a few cute ones of Dylan. They also had school pictures taken a few weeks back and I have several really cute pictures of them together, so I am a happy camper.

We had such a nice birthday party for Gavin. Most of his uncles and aunts came to visit. Unfortunately, Jason and Amanda were not able to make it, but we were thinking about them. Gavin devoured the cake and really dug in. He was a little more cautious about opening up presents, but he did play with all the toys he got. What a special day. I can't believe he is 1 years old.

Pumpkin patch 2009

We went to the pumpkin patch with Brian, Kim, Brody and Max and had a really fun time. It started out to be such a cold, windy day and then it warmed up as soon as the sun came out.

off to Vegas

Well right when we got back from Colorado, Todd and I went to Vegas for an adult trip. It was actually for a work conference, but it was nice because we went with 2 other couples and we also celebrated our 5 year anniversary. I can't believe its only been 5 years, it seems like longer. I guess thats because we dated so long... =)

The first night we got there, we just crashed. It wasn't until after midnight did we get to our room. We kind of figured out which places we wanted to go see and which shows. We also ordered in room service.

The next day, we met everyone for lunch and then we went shopping.

The guys had to check in to the conference, so the girls continued to shop. I only bought a pair of shoes, but it was fun watching the other girls and also helping Tiffaney pick out a really pretty purse. That evening we went out for dinner and drinks.



We had a great time.

On Saturday, we met up with Jason and Amanda.




It was great seeing them. They showed us around and we went up to the Stratsaphere.. (sp??).

It made me nautious being up there, but great views. We got some tickets to some shows for the evening. We went to defending the caveman with the group and then Penn & Teller with Jason and Amanda. We took them out for dinner before we went out and it was yummy... The first show was ok, but the magic show was awesome.


Thanks Jason and Amanda. We really enjoyed that. Afterwards, we went out and did some gambling. Of course, I lost, but it was fun. What I lost, Todd ended up winning, so that was good.

In the morning, we wanted to go to the buffet at New York, New York, but there was over a 2 hour wait, so we went to the cafe instead with Jason and Amanda. It was really good. I don't think you can get a bad meal in Vegas.

We did some more site seeing. We went to the Hard Rock and picked up a few t-shirts and we also picked up some little things for the boys.
