Have a Happy Memorial Day
We had such a nice Memorial Day weekend with Andi/Troy and family. We went to DSM and hung out Friday evening with everyone catching up. We missed Chuck e cheese, but we made it in time for cake and ice cream and gift opening.

On Saturday morning, we went to Keagan's baseball game and Kade's baseball game. They both did a great job and it was so fun to watch. That night we grilled out, played video games, and dance party. On Sunday we went to the zoo and over to Andi's nephew's house. It was Tyler's 4th birthday. We stayed there and watch the kiddo's have fun running through the sprinkler and getting eachother wet with the water guns. Monday we went to the mall and got a few deals. I also ran into Stacey one of my friends from Dubuque who I've been friends with since high school. As soon as I get some pictures, I'll post them. The only thing bad with the weekend was Gavin was very moody. He is teething and has been a little fussy.

hi again
I have been so bad at blogging lately, checking my emails, and having some "me" time. This weekend, we are going to stay put, so that will be nice for a change. My parents are coming down on Sunday because the school has an in-service Monday and they are going to watch the kiddos. They are pretty excited about it and so are the kids.
Gavin is now walking- FINALLY... its pretty cute watching him get around. He also got 2 more teeth, so that was fun- NOT. He also was pretty sick last week with an upper respiratory infection. He is doing much better now, thank goodness.
Dylan is same ol, same ol. What a happy little thing. Today he had a "friendship" party and he wanted to wear his red shirt and spike his hair. He was so excited to bring his valentines. He also mentioned he was going to give his girlfriend, Delaney a nice valentine. He is so sweet. She told him the other day she was going to marry him. Then a few days later she mentioned she was marrying someone else. Oh, his first heartbreak =)
I'll be posted some pictures this week.

Its been a long time
I can't believe I haven't posted since Thanksgiving. A lot has happened since then. First, I got a job! I'm very excited about it, I started January 11th. I'm a Buyer at Rockwell Collins. The other news is my Grandma Wolf passed away. She lived a long life and her viewing was more of a celebration of her life. Everyone made it back to say goodbyes except for Rita who was trapped in a snow storm. She did write a very nice letter that was shared with Grandma with all her kids around her. She requested that be read at her funeral. All the grankids came back too, so that was really nice. We enjoyed seeing Jason and Amanda. The kids really like their Aunt and Uncle. While they were back, we went to visit Santa at the mall. Dylan was scared to see him, but Gavin didn't have a problem. In fact, he grabbed Santa's glasses off his face. Man, that boy has quick hands. I think that is one of the reasons we call him "Gav-attack".

During that weekend, we also had the Dolphin Christmas. We celebrated earlier this year since Andi/Troy and family were going to Orlando over Christmas break.

Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Birthday to my dad
Well, Thanksgiving has come and gone and it was very nice. Wednesday was my dad's birthday, so they came down and we went to Happy Joes. Oh, that was soooo good. We watched four Christmasses after that. I thought it was a pretty good movie, but not awesome. The next morning while waiting for the food, we played with the kiddos. I just love the kids hanging on my dad.
It just puts a smile on my face. For our lunch, we decided not to do turkey at all. We did pork, potatoes, green bean casserole, brocoli/cauliflauer salad, apple pie and pumpkin pie. It was all good, but man I over ate. That night we just relaxed and today we have just been hanging out. We typically do the black Friday thing, but this year we opted out. I think we are going to put up the tree and do some Christmas decorating. That is my favorite thing to do.

Happy 4th birthday Dylan

I can't believe that my baby is 4 years old. We had his birthday party on Sunday and it was so much fun.
We invited his friends from his class, our neighbors and family. I think there were 36 people there, but it didn't seem that bad. I greeted people at the door and guided them downstairs where the party was. My sister-in-law Andi was a HUGE help. She started everything off with tatoos. She was great, she counted with them to 20 while they got the "tats" on. I just loved it.
We had a transformer theme, so you can imagine there were transformer figures everywhere. Its kind of nice being off so I can do some fun stuff like that. We played three games, pin the tail on the donkey, balloon game and the pinata.
They were all fun, but I think the pinata was the most fun. We had it stuffed with candy, so it was hard to break it open, but my nephew, Austin was the one who finally got it.
Oh, and we also broke the pinata stick and bent the broom stick. Seriously, it was so funny. We had cake and ice cream and then Dylan opened up gifts.
He sure did get a lot of cool things. We are so thankful for such great company, it sure made his 4th birthday very special.
After the party was over, my family stayed for sandwiches (sloppy joes and turkey/dressing sandwiches), chedder potatoes, fruit, bean salad, cole-slaw, chips and more cake. It was a lot of fun.
The one thing that was noticeably missing was my sweet nephew Kade who was not feeling well. The nice thing is, we will see everyone over the holidays before Christmas. =)
